Young Balkan Designers is a competition founded in 2011 with the aim of identifying, promoting and developing creative talent in the Balkan region.

This year's call for entries, titled 'The New Analogue', is looking for products, concepts and services that bring a human touch back to the design and manufacturing process. The judges are particularly interested in work that demonstrates a link to the materials, crafts and techniques of Balkan culture.

An internationally renowned judging panel has been assembled, including:

  • Konstantin Grcic, KGID, Industrial Designer
  • Tomislav Knezović, CEO, Prostoria
  • Zoran Jedrejčić, Industrial Designer
  • Jelena Matić, Furniture Designer, Professor at the University of Belgrade
  • Nikola Radeljković, Product Designer, Numen / ForUse
