Head of Innovation and Development Programmes, Design and Crafts Council of Ireland
Louise studied at the National College of Art and Design, School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Fondation Marcel Hicter. She has worked in a range of design, enterprise, contemporary arts, education and innovation fields.
In her role as Head of Innovation and Development Programmes at the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland, she has devised and implemented a strategy to develop the design and innovation capabilities of the craft and design sector, forged strategic relationships with national networks and delivered several EU funded programmes.
Louise most recently co-curated Liminal Irish design at the threshold, the flagship international exhibition for Irish Design 2015. She is a board member of the World Crafts Council Europe and Head of International Programmes for Irish Design 2015.
